I’ve been having a bit of a rummage around the cellar and put together a six-pack worth grabbing while you can.

The Weekend Six brings together two of our Beechworth favourites: the 2024 Chardonnay and the 2022 Blanc de Blanc Sparkling. Both are getting down to the last few boxes, and once the Blanc de Blanc is gone, that’s it for at least another 18 months. So, if you’ve been meaning to grab a few bottles, now’s the time.

 

The 2024 Chardonnay is our new release, rich and golden, with ripe melon and stone fruit, a full, complex palate and a lovely line of crisp acidity to keep everything in check. It’s drinking beautifully now, but there’s plenty of life ahead of it, too — tuck a few away for the next five to ten years.

Then there’s the 2022 Blanc de Blanc, made the traditional way and spending extended time on lees. It’s bright and refined, with citrus, white stone fruit and a creamy texture that makes it just as welcome for a celebration as it is for a lazy weekend lunch.

 

Together, they show two sides of Beechworth Chardonnay — one still, rich and generous; the other sparkling, fresh and elegant. The Weekend Six includes three bottles of each wine, valued at $345 at regular retail price. We’ve put the pack together for $295, saving you $50.
